Here it is, May already! ! ! 
I feel like it has been Winter FOREVER ! ! 
In a hopes of getting the Spring thing going, ever year I plant a few seeds for transplanting into my gardens . . . as soon as it is warm enough to safely plant. 
Even though it is going to be nice, warm today, it still isn't warm enough in the evening to risk of not freezing out the tender seedlings, when they finally appear.

I was worried about trying to keep the seedling labeled, and not mixed up, as some are veggies and others will make their way to the flower gardens, so ...

I remembered that I had gotten a package of pinch clothes pins, for crafting reasons, but, "HEY!" what better way to have convertible markers, from seed pots to gardens ! . . .pretty proud of that idea, just hope these work in the garden as well . . .

Week Six of Club Scrap Professional Scrappers League (PSL) Event

This week has been spent mostly in prep for the Stamp and Scrap Expo, at the CF Middle School. I won a table to crop at for the whole day. My goal was to create ALSBs to add to the ones I all ready have done, and scrap most, if not all of the photos I removed from a photo book that had LOTS of pics from 1981 through 1985.

Because these pictures included everything from Easter for my girls, ages 2 and 4 1/2, to pool and water slide pictures taken in Fargo in 1985.

The kits I "ALSBed were

At the beginning of the morning, I decided to make myself a CS 12 X 12 album to be used specifically for a large number of the Lay Outs I would make during the day, so I started off the day with a project  . . .

During the Expo itself, I manged to scrap 27 pages of LOs, from 6 kits, but was not able to complete them without my printer, extra paper for journaling, and bits of embellishments.

The kits I use and the number of pages include:

     Time and Space - 12/04  - 8 pages

     Varsity - 06/05  - 3 pages

     Interior Design - 11/07  - 4  pages

     Stratosphere - 04/07  -  2 pages

Being that most, if not all of the pages I made qualified for this weeks challenge, I really thought I was gonna had lots of submissions, but ended up only submitting one of the double Lay Outs. I believe I can use a few of the other ones, after I embellish them with something "sparkly" .  .

Week TWO of the Club Scrap Professional Scrappers League (PSL) Event

My submissions for the week two PSL challenge for "TORN PAPER":

I created a remake of one of our 2013 retreat projects we made called the Magnetic Messenger.

I had gotten the idea after trying to think of ways to "re-purpose" the top of a decorative tin that I had used the main tin for something else. I believe it turned out "pretty nifty"!

I also worked on making some cards for this specific challenge and ended up making 11 assorted cards . . .

This year Club Scrap has revamped their Professional Scrappers League Event from years past.
One of the purposes for having this even is to have the Club Scrap members USE some of their much loved Club Scrap materials, mostly papers, but not leaving out past projects, and things like stencils, fibers, and other kit goodies.

Historically this has not been the most successful event for me, but this year I am trying to be more motivated toward participation in the event.

 I did not submit anything for the first weeks challenge,  which was  ***METALLICS***   mostly because I or don't use much if any matallics in my scrapbooking or card making . . .
 . . .or at least that is what I thought . . .

Now, after being busy posting to Club Scraps Blog for it's Spring PLS . . . Professional Scrappers League, I will be posting photos of submissions here as well . . .

"Hoppy Easter" Everyone!

It may be Easter Saturday, but we had our Easter Breakfast with the family, and then did our annual Easter Egg Hunt, only this year, because of the pouring down rain, we chose the local theatre to hunt, where everything was INDOORS ! !

Even though it is raining today, Mother Nature is just doing her "Spring Cleaning" . . . and  it looks like Spring is actually going to make the move to show up!!

I'd like to take this opportunity to wish all of you a joyous Easter and remind you to Thank God/Jesus for all this Holy Holiday has meant to all mankind.
  . . . andhave a  "hoppy  easter . . . "

A last minute entry . . . I had these Layouts almost complete, so I just had to finish them with titles and journalling . . .

It's beginning to look a lot more like Spring, FINALLY ! !

I spent the better part of the weekend scrapping and ALSBing . . .
And I need to keep going on my vacation scrapbook project,
mainly because I am planning on following it with a catch-up on the grandkids books . . . all, long overdue!

But in the mean time, here are a few of the Layouts that I have made of our recent trip to Savannah, Georgia, with our friends Bob and Linda.

We visited Tybee Island, on a beautifully sunny day. towards the end of our stay. Even though the temperatures weren't the greatest, it was certainly much better than up here in "The Northland"!

The first pair of double Layouts are of our visit to The Lighthouse and Museum on Tybee Island . . .

 

Then as we were winding down our tour of Tybee Island, we stopped for a "little dinner" . . . Island style . . . The Crab Shack. This place was really great! We had a huge tray of boiled treats, like; two kinds of crab, shrimp, crayfish (crawdads), clams, some boiled potatoes, small cobs of corn, and some spicy sausages. We ordered the servings for three, hoping it would be enough and we ended up barely making it through it! (we did leave some of the sausage . . .)

We also played on the grounds outside the restaurant . . . pictures with HUGE gators, some real baby gators, and even one that Kent could wrestle . . . fake, or course . . .

Today it is darned cold!
I believe the last time I checked, it was -13 degrees windchill!
It makes for a good day to stay inside and get some crafting done!!

Yesterday I spent the day re-organizing multiple scrapbooks,
entering past layouts from previous PSL (professional scrapbooking league)
and then actually scrapping!

I know I have a LONG WAY to catch up to Sister Lynn, . . .  
but I wonder if I have more completed ALSBs to fill . . .
and maybe a possiblity of catching up !

This is an updated count including the ALCM card I made on the 14th,
I have made two more cards, one for the Birthday Card Swap at Club Scrap.
(I am always experimenting with cardmaking and will might not put them in
this count of papercrafting . .. )

So much going on, I can hardly believe that it has been a month since I last posted !

The end of February, beginning of March we "escaped Wisconsin"
to spend a few days in Savannah, Georgia. I am working on downloading photos,
so those will be coming soon!

In the mean time, I made a few cards ;
These 11 cards were made using the Club Scrap Kit called Tie Die, from
January, 2003.
Some of the Layouts for these cards were taken from the Club Scrap kit
Up, Up, and Away (February, 2013).
These are called  Assembly Line Card Making  (ALCM).
I used a number of different stamps from my Club Scrap Unmounted Stamps,
from several different kits. 

 



**As I work on downloading and printing the photos from our Georgia trip, I am getting into the competitive mode, to start back into little competition I have with my Sister Lynn, in AZ.
She is miles and miles ahead of me in this little race, but I plan on getting back into the race !

I got this really neat idea from a papercrafting kit I bought and when I tried it,

it turned out great! ! !

 

It is a tri-fold card that looks like this when you first see it,
