Good morning from a snowy, icy Wisconsin!
I have a free morning, with inclement weather and no jobs on the "remoldel to do list", and I am free to play a little with what I lost on my last blog!!
I will attempt to "re-post" some of the entries I made before everything disappeared.
In those posts I mentioned a friendly, sisterly competition that I have with my "Scrappin Sister", Lynn in Arizona.
I believe the goal was to ALSB (Assembly Line Scrap Booking) and Scrap as many layouts, using the "stash" of paper that she and I have "collected" over the years.
We also began to realize that we needed to include cards and projects that will also be completed in our mad dash to become actual papercrafters, rather than just paper hoarders.
Wish me luck, as I am reconstructing those posts from archived emails from Lynn, that she was able to send me . . .  Did I say "Tanks, Sis!" ?

I'm off to get this blog rolling . . .   have a nice day

Monday Morning and time to recover, then catch up from a very busy weekend . . . sure glad I am retired !

DH and I worked around a fun bowling tournament this weekend to remove, clean up, then replace all the counter tops in my kitchen! We still have the new sink and plumbing to replace before the kitchen is actually back in working condition again, but it is looking just gorgious all ready!!
The remodel still includes ceramic tile and new flooring, but we will do it as we are able . . . til then my living room looks like a back room of a building supply store !

We also have had winter weather advisories all weekend, with 4-5 inches of really wet and icy snow . . . which Kent spent over an hour snowblowing out of the way this AM, before work. The driving was a real hazzard and we were glad we didn't have any real traveling to do . . . local roads were bad enough to deal with.

And now, today I have my two DGDs, as there is no school for them.  Mumma brought a few incomplete craft projects to finish, so we will be busy, a little later . . . one of the projects is actually a scrapbook! to work on! . . .We may be a little space challenged with our temperary construction zone status, but it will be fine for having some creative fun !

I am jealous of my DS in AZ who has spent the last few weekends doing her ALSBs (Assembly Line Scrap Booking). We have made a personal challenge for 2013 to get off the paper hoarding wagon and start getting some physical scrapbooking done ! We both have SOOOOOO much paper and, at least in my case, SOOOOOO many pictures to be "scrapped"!
I started off like gangbusters and got LOTS and LOTS of pages "begun", but then "LIFE" stepped in and put me in a temperary holding pattern . . .  My goal has not changed, and because there were no numbers associated with time, I still may catch up and surpass the Arizona numbers being "put out"!

I also need to get going on "sprucing up" my new blog, . . . (the header HAS TO GO ! ! ) . . . so that I can feel better about publishing it for others to read!

Wishing eveyone a great Monday and the beginning of a busy week.
Take some time to notice that each day is getting a little longer as Spring gets closer, and for us, warmer weather as well.

Blessings
mj

Hello!
I'm Mary, and I am in the process of building this blog.
Please have patience as I fumble through the process . . . because I have forgotten everything I used, or did to build my previous blog.
And one of the first things I plan to do, is safegaurd this blog so something like what happened to the previous creation, can not happen  . . . again.
