What do you do with a couple of photos of childrens eyes??
You make Valentines out of them . . .

I got this really neat idea from a papercrafting kit I bought and when I tried it,
it turned out great! ! !

It is a tri-fold card that looks like this when you first see it,

Then when you refold it, it might look something like this:

Cute idea, huh??

HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY ! !

There have been so many things keeping me from scrapping, lately,
and I thought I would take some time to post some pictures . . .

About three weeks ago, we started remodeling our kitchen.
Not that our kitchen "really needed" to be remodeled, but it has been twenty two years, with only a change in wallpaper and replacement/repair of the flooring.

These are pictures of the kitchen in mid-January, before we began the demolition:

From the time the counter tops were picked up, for two weeks we lived with a mess in the kitchen, and  the water being turned off for only a few days . . .

The following are now pictures of the ceramic tile work that we did:
We chose pretty neutral 3"X3" tiles with glass 1"X2" glass tiles in the middle. It has a really nice affect, and when the new floor is eventually installed, all the same colors with be duplicated there.
The "window" over the sink was an idea we came up with. because there are none in the whole room. Using a pattern made to the exact dimensions of the space above the sink to "map out" the design, we were able to create a pretty good replica!
You can also see the new counter tops here. I chose Formica that looks like granite, rather than the real thing.

These are a couple of pictures that show the "new kitchen" with the exception of the flooring:

Hope you like it, I know we sure do ! !

Good morning from a snowy, icy Wisconsin!
I have a free morning, with inclement weather and no jobs on the "remoldel to do list", and I am free to play a little with what I lost on my last blog!!
I will attempt to "re-post" some of the entries I made before everything disappeared.
In those posts I mentioned a friendly, sisterly competition that I have with my "Scrappin Sister", Lynn in Arizona.
I believe the goal was to ALSB (Assembly Line Scrap Booking) and Scrap as many layouts, using the "stash" of paper that she and I have "collected" over the years.
We also began to realize that we needed to include cards and projects that will also be completed in our mad dash to become actual papercrafters, rather than just paper hoarders.
Wish me luck, as I am reconstructing those posts from archived emails from Lynn, that she was able to send me . . .  Did I say "Tanks, Sis!" ?

I'm off to get this blog rolling . . .   have a nice day
